Annual Conference

Knowledge in Motion: Evidence-Based Care 2014 Conference

Friday, April 4, 2014
Oyster Point Hotel, Red Bank, NJ

In Search of Innovative Improvements in an Era of Reform

The dictionary states that an innovation is the process of translating an idea or invention into a good or service that creates value or for which customers will pay. Health care reform comes with increased accountability for not only the outcomes of care but for the costs as well. Payers, including the government, are increasingly interested in those organizations who break new ground for more accountable care.

This conference will explore innovations in the evidence for telehealth in cardiac care, difficult conversations at the end of health, increasing patient activation for their health, and the use of simulation to bring evidence into practice. Our keynote speaker is an international expert in implementation science who will discuss how best to cement new and improved processes of care into practice.
