Kathleen Russell-Babin

Kathleen Russell-Babin, MSN, RN is Sr. Manager for the Institute for Evidence-Based Care. A healthcare professional with over 30 years experience, Ms. Russell-Babin has conducted research in nursing process, teamwork, case management and more recently, in a medication reconciliation research demonstration project and delirium. She has served in leadership roles from manager to chief nursing officer. She has an extensive performance improvement background and has served on multidisciplinary quality improvement teams. She has led Institute for Evidence-Based Care evidence reviews on over 30 topics in the last three years. She has published on topics in evidence-based care, opinion leaders, teamwork, case management and nurse retention incentives. She is presently a doctoral student in nursing at Nova Southeastern University.
